About Earthen Empathy
About Earthen Empathy
Earthen Empathy is a Brisbane-based solo practice rooted in care, conservation, and community. Founded by Jess, it offers modular services that blend eco-sensitive gardening, NDIS support, pressure washing, and inclusive education—designed to grow with your needs and the seasons.
Born from a deep respect for land and people, Earthen Empathy began as a way to honour both habitat and healing. Jess brings together practical skills in restoration and adaptive scheduling to create services that are gentle, transparent, and empowering. Whether you're seeking pet-safe garden design, storm clean-up, or participant-led support, each offering is crafted with integrity and intention.
Jess is building toward a full launch in January 2026. With a foundation in conservation studies and business development, Earthen Empathy is designed to scale thoughtfully—adding branches like weed-focused pest control, non-urgent post-storm clean up, and responsive care as capacity grows.
At its heart, Earthen Empathy is about stewardship: of land, relationships, and energy. Every service is modular, every agreement clear, and every client empowered to choose what fits.
Founder of Earthen Empathy
Jess is a former nurse with 20 years of experience, now making a tree change to focus on eco-sensitive gardening and community support. She’s currently studying Conservation and Ecosystem Management and volunteers with Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA), deepening her hands-on experience in habitat restoration and land care. Jess brings practical skills, deep empathy, and a love of nature to every job.
Earthen Empathy is her way of blending practical skill set, care, conservation, and client empowerment—especially for NDIS participants who want their outdoor spaces to reflect their needs and values. Jess is reliable, respectful, and committed to creating gardens that feel safe, green, and alive.
Whether she’s mowing a lawn, restoring a garden bed, or helping reclaim a space for relaxation and joy, Jess works with integrity, adaptability, and heart.

Acknowledgement of Country
Earthen Empathy works on lands cared for by the Turrbal and Jagera peoples in Brisbane, and the Yuggera and Yugarabul peoples in Ipswich. We honour their enduring connection to Country—the soil, the waters, the stories—and pay respect to Elders past and present.
We recognise that this land was never ceded. The gardens we tend and the care we offer grow on foundations laid by First Nations custodians, whose knowledge and stewardship continue to guide and inspire.
