Micro Backyard Renovation NOV 2025

This compact backyard, measuring 7m long x 1.2m wide, was a delight to transform. The client wanted something practical, low‑maintenance, and perfect for her dog to enjoy. In just two short visits, the space was completely renewed:

• The overgrown, shady mess was cleared

• The site was prepared for a retaining wall

• Once the wall was in place, clean fill was laid

• Finally, lush shade‑tolerant turf was rolled out and watered in

The result? A fresh, green, easy‑care yard that feels bigger, brighter, and more welcoming. The client couldn’t be happier with her mini transformation.

This long‑overgrown garden bed was in desperate need of a refresh. Over three days, it was stripped back to basics and reshaped into a low‑maintenance native space that will thrive with minimal input.

What began as a dense jungle became a clean, manageable garden bed with room for healthy growth. The overflowing hedge spilling over the retaining wall was removed, restoring structure and opening up the space.

The result is a calmer, more functional landscape that’s easier to care for and better suited to the site’s natural conditions.
